I grew up in the Netherlands near the German border, attended a German school, and had friends from Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, which allowed me to develop fluency in both German and Dutch. Since 2011, I've gained valuable experience in multilingual tasks through my work experience as both a BPO contractor and an in-house employee. I have provided translation services for various industries, including marketing, legal, technical, and medical fields. I've been working as a tutor (English and German) for 3 years and as a translator (freelance) for a year and a half. I fluently speak English and German. Working as a freelance translator since 2006

I'm 35 years old, been living and working in France, Australia, Germany and Austria for a couple of years. After having been a restaurant owner for 6 years I decided to come back to what I've been trained for. Language and its application. I have been an English major at the University of Lyon Lumière with 2 semesters abroad in Melbourne, Australia. In my free time I love to go hiking with my 2 dogs and my wife just as much as traveling around Europe in our van. Other than that I interested in photography, home improvement and any kind of hands-on work.

I'm on the chief editorial board of a magazine published both in German and English. I've been working as a Pro-Level translator on Gengo for about 3 years with about 400,000 words translated at this point. I've been working for EasyTranslate on larger projects around 75.000 words.
