Translating patents (technical English and German) became the main focus of my work as well as manuals and instructions, product descriptions and free style writing. As my clients are lawyers, manufacturing companies, marketing agencies and many more, I enjoy delivering anything from legal language to more creative writing. Starting as interpreter and translator during the balkan war, while studying German language in Zagreb, I moved 1995 to Austria, where I live ever since. I am Croatian and German native with profund knowledge of English language. In the meanwhile I was working in big international companies like European Telecom International, a company of Telefonica, and DHL. Since 2012 I am self-employed and work as translator and writer.

I am an extremely responsible person and possess almost 5 years' experience in the world of translation, during which I have gained excellent mastery of texts and topics in many areas. Growing up in Germany with a bilingual background, I fulfilled my dream at the age of 18 and moved to Szekszárd, where I started working as a volunteer in a kindergarten. After acquiring some basic knowledge of Hungarian, I decided to study early childhood education with a bilingual focus in Hungarian. After working in my profession and after my two older children were born, I started translating for MOZAIK, an internationally recognized publisher of school materials. After acquiring basic translation skills, I passed the state-approved Hungarian and German translation exam at ELTE University in Budapest in 2015. Since then, I have been working full-time as a freelance translator and proofreader. My main areas of expertise in translation and proofreading are marketing, catering, art and culture, especially music and literature, but also theatre and film (subtitling also), tourism, management, law, education, PR, humanities, politics.

Last year, I relocated to Normandy / France and took a one-year sabbatical. Since January 2022, I have started a language service company and offer legal and book translation services and German and English business language courses. I translate from English or French to German and French or German to English. To maintain the highest quality standards, I currently do not offer translation to French or any other language.
