My name is David. I am a French native speaker translator. As an expatriate, I am constantly dealing with different languages and culture. I have a long experience in Learning and development area, working in a Corporate environment and in Global teams. My main activity was trainer/consultant however it included translating content from HR world (communications, training materials, processes, support materials) but also from other areas: gaming, technical instructions for industry, health and safety, travelling, health, blog article, organisation of events, financial reports from NGO... I am building experience step by step since 2018, finding new clients and new projects. I have worked on various projects since I graduated (from small to big documents) and with two main language pairs (Chinese to French, English to French), but sometimes accepted a project in Chinese to English. I have experience with a lot of domains (mainly fiction, economics, politics, history, marketing and business). I enjoy discovering new challenges.

I am a native French freelance translator (full time). I am fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese. I have a master's degree in Languages and International Affairs (English and Japanese) from Orléans University and a master's degree in Chinese language from (Chongqing's) Southwest University. I also studied in a Japanese university as an exchange student for 1 year and had 1 year working holiday in Tokyo.
