I have Civil Engineering degree which I obtained in Ghana (an English-speaking country) and obtained my baccalaureate in Togo (a French speaking country). I am a native French freelance translator (full time). I am fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese. I have a master's degree in Languages and International Affairs (English and Japanese) from Orléans University and a master's degree in Chinese language from (Chongqing's) Southwest University. I also studied in a Japanese university as an exchange student for 1 year and had 1 year working holiday in Tokyo. I did several internships and short-term jobs for international trade companies, including 8 months in Chinese companies in China where I did import and export related jobs, market research and international customer research. Not only I have knowledge in the field of Business and marketing, but I am also interested in various fields, such as cinema, history, travelling, comics and especially video games. I am available almost everyday and I accept both small and large projects. I use SDL Trados studio 2019. I can do translation, interpretation, proofreading, MTPE and subtitling.

I have a 9 years experience, having translated more than a million words all in all in my career, not counting all the translations I do for fun because I just like it ! I have a degree in biological engineering, completed by my vast general culture and professional experience in leadership positions in various companies, which means I can handle very well any topic from medicine to finance and marketing through video games and social sciences. I'm originally from Belgium but I now live in Côte d'Ivoire, which means I can do translations localized for both European and African audiences. My mantra is : if it sounds good, then it is good. It is utmost important for me that the audience cannot guess that they are reading a translation : they must feel as if the document was originally written by a native speaker. That is my objective. I'm also very strict regarding to spelling and typography since French has its own specific rules on capitals, brackets, etc. You won't be disappointed.
