I am a native French freelance translator (full time). I am fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese. I have a master's degree in Languages and International Affairs (English and Japanese) from Orléans University and a master's degree in Chinese language from (Chongqing's) Southwest University. I also studied in a Japanese university as an exchange student for 1 year and had 1 year working holiday in Tokyo. Amateur translator but also interpreter. This gives me a certain ease in writing; if only to detect and render the nuances of each language. Rigour and reactivity, curiosity, culture, I am also moved when I read. I react first of all to the form, to the language that I judge cold, neutral or neat. Wooden language, technical language or passionate language: I take it into account and try to reproduce it as best I can.

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.
