I used to work as researcher in biology. I did my PhD in Paris, followed by a three year postdoc in Germany. Since June 2017, I'm trying to switch career to a language related one. My 6 years experience in an academic setting provided me with expertise not only in theoretical and experimental biology, programming and office software, but also in writing and proofreading scientific articles in both English and French.

I am a Lomonosov Moscow State University graduate in English, French, German and Spanish languages. During the course of my studies at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Area Studies I acquired a solid base in linguistics. Now I am studying at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University to get a second bachelor's degree in Biomedical appliances, which makes medicine and medical devices the area of special interest for me. I also studied in a Japanese university as an exchange student for 1 year and had 1 year working holiday in Tokyo. I did several internships and short-term jobs for international trade companies, including 8 months in Chinese companies in China where I did import and export related jobs, market research and international customer research. Not only I have knowledge in the field of Business and marketing, but I am also interested in various fields, such as cinema, history, travelling, comics and especially video games. I am available almost everyday and I accept both small and large projects. I use SDL Trados studio 2019. I can do translation, interpretation, proofreading, MTPE and subtitling.

I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.
