Salut ! I'm Massa, a true bilingual French Translator with close to 5 years of experience in translation, interpretation, linguistic testing and transcription. Most of my career was done in India, between freelancing work from home to medium and long term projects on client premises. I'm a potent mix of technical knowledge and precise communication and writing skills. I am detail-oriented, punctual, and always strive to deliver high quality faithful translation. I want to work with serious Linguistic Service Providers or Clients who can provide me with projects so I can put my talents to use and further enrich my career. I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.

I was raised Trilingual in Haiti speaking French, Haitian Creole and English (Level C2). Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese (Level C1) for I have been living and studying in Brazil since 2017. I speak Intermediate Spanish (Level B2). Part time freelance translator since 2016 and have done work related interpretation on a daily basis since 2014. I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. I am an English-Haitian Creole translator with about 6 years of experience in this field. I have an Excellent knowledge of the English language while being a native Haitian Creole speaker and living in Haiti. I do both medical and general translations. I have worked on religious and educational project such as translation of books for kids, books that are used to teach Haitian Creole. To me every job is a challenge, and I give myself entirely for each of them. I am responsible, creative and I respect my deadlines. I can also be very fast if the amount is motivating. I am a professional translator/interpreter from Yekaterinburg, Russia. Free lance experience since 1998 (see details in my CV attached hereto). I mainly work in the field of industry, especially metallurgy, as our region has been developing since the 18th century around metal extraction and metal work. I am able to provide on site translation service as well as translation of any documents supporting your project - from technical data sheets and descriptions to contracts and reports. In 2013, I started translating articles for the Russian Academy of Sciences (the Ural Branch). Since that time, no article has been refused by foreign publishing houses and offices for a poor quality of translation.

I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).
