I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).

I'm a qualified translator, I worked for many translation agencies and also for other clients since 2006, I have done more than 3000 projects, in fact, I have heard a lot about Smartcat and I really want to take part of your familly.

I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. The diversity of documents and fields that I have the opportunity to work with as a translator make me appreciate the challenges and enrich my knowledge. I'm a 29 years old French girl who first worked in Education, then decided to change and study Tourism. After 2 years as a Tour Guide in Portugal, working daily in English, French and basic Portuguese, I'm back in France. Currently working full time as a tour guide in a famous Champagne house, using English and French on a daily bases. Also working on a van transformation, starting to learn Spanish and saving money to go on a WHV in New Zeland in 2023/2024. I love to travel and my goal would be to manage to work online while travelling. I'm also passionate about wine, food, craft beer and animal cause.

I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. I would also like to add that I can handle deadlines just fine.

I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.
