From 1990 to 2003, I worked mainly as programmer, using various languages such as Fortran, Pascal, C, Visual Basic, SQL, Javascript and Perl and as system administrator, setting computers and networks and familiar with UNIX, and most of Windows OS and Mac OS versions. - From 2001 to 2010, I worked as French translator in an in-house translation department, translating over 7 millions words. This included company literature, magazines, services brochures, finance manuals, computers manuals, Web sites, voice over scripts and subtitles. - From 2011 to 2015, I became a Translation System Manager, implementing the SDL WorldServer solution in my department, setting up the software including workflows and filters, writing training material for the translators and translation manager and getting the system in used. I majored in Accounting and Business Administration at a great college in Madagascar. Then, I worked for two months for a private cabinet as an intern accountant. I also have an English Language Certificate from an institution linked to the United States Embassy here, following 3 years of courses. I master English orthography, grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. Additionally, I’ve been working as a translator, interpreter and proofreader in an association for 5 years now.
