I work as a freelance translator since 2005 (full-time from 2005 to 2008 and since 2017) and have worked as an internal translator for a translation agency in the meantime (from 2008 to 2017). Before that, I worked in customer service jobs for several companies in different industries (marketing, leasing, etc.)

I have experience in writing in both Dutch and English for a wide range of audiences, from Parliament to the scientific community, to public speeches.

I am an established phone interpreter for a globally recognized company. I have extensive movie translating and subtitling experience, along with varied translation work in many types of manuals (including multiple fields). I have worked as a Senior Dutch proof-reader for an international company too. All of these facets of my language skills give me a complete, well-rounded, and balanced professional language background.

I developed a taste for the literary genre as well: since 2012 I have worked closely with a publishing company, called ClusterEffect, and have translated several novels, both fiction and non-fiction. I am a graduate student in an international programme of Economics at KU Leuven university, taught in English. Previously, I obtained a master's degree in philosophy.
