I work as a freelance translator since 2005 (full-time from 2005 to 2008 and since 2017) and have worked as an internal translator for a translation agency in the meantime (from 2008 to 2017). Through the years I have made translations of various texts for agencies worldwide as well as directly for end clients. I have also worked as a translator/ international correspondent for Tyco Valves & Controls (pumps and valves industry), from 2005 through 2009, and for Hero Breda (food industry), from 1992 through 1996. In these jobs I learnt a lot about the translation of technical and practical subjects and natural sciences. I now combine my love for and knowledge of these subjects with my love for languages and translation. I always have worked in the sector of international transport and logistics and gained experience in aviation as a private pilot. I also have worked in tourism for a few years. Through work I have been able to develop my passion for language well. I translate from Spanish to Dutch, English to Dutch, and vice versa.
