I'm an En-Arabic translator with 10 years of experience in the field. I hold BA (English language and Lit.), post-grad diploma of interpretation and I'm currently an MA researcher. Over the past years, I advanced in career from Junior translator to senior reviewer. I’ve worked on various material types including Computer, IT, Marketing, NGOs, UN, Health care, Technical, Automotive and Subtitling. I'm currently a dedicated freelancer working with various national and international clients. I can deliver high quality translation within required deadline.

I have more than 20 years of translation, with particular concern about linguistic aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I have been a translator for Syria's government department since 1998. Also, I worked for UN Organizations in Syria then, translating agreements, work plans, and project documents. After that, I left Syria for Saudi Arabia and consequently left my job. I was offered the position of Arabic and Cultural Instructor for nonnative speakers, which, in turn, inflamed my passion for my mother tongue and started to look at it from an analytical point of view. However, after the spread of coronavirus, my old love for translation came up. So, I started looking for translation opportunities. I want to start again with a rewarding project!

Moreover, I have worked extensively in the field of subtitling movies, documentaries, TV series, programs ... etc from and into English. I have Master degree in Translation and Interpreting (English, French, Arabic) from the Higher Institute of Human Studies of Tunis (University Tunis El Manar). Currently, I work as a translator/ Interpreter in SUN BOOKING Safe Elderly’s Care Company. Before that, I was a translator in an office of sworn translation. I am very delighted to find the opportunity to spend an important period in the field of translation, communication, and writing. I am dedicated to my job.
