The human brain is a crazy place, so according to these sentence I decided to make shift for my career, the thing that encouraged me to did is the interesting in studying languages. I am a pharmacist like a lot of medical staff helping and provide support for different kinds of people, but the stability and consistency in this job in my country made me bored. I'm a General Practitioner, currently working as a Medical content translator and interpreter.

1991- 2016 Acquiring a vast expertise for the last 25 years in various fields. Responsible for handling and translating all kind of documents such as; international development reports, technical and website materials, feasibility and business case studies, medical material and more. Having a special educational preparation and extensive experience in writing articles, essays, literary comments, political researches and technical reports. Moreover, I have worked extensively in the field of subtitling movies, documentaries, TV series, programs ... etc from and into English. What is so important for enhancing one’s expertise is the contact and interaction with so many different fields, through which to gain hands-on experience. Inter-personal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect to diversity. I have more than 20 years of translation, with particular concern about linguistic aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I have been a translator for Syria's government department since 1998. Also, I worked for UN Organizations in Syria then, translating agreements, work plans, and project documents. After that, I left Syria for Saudi Arabia and consequently left my job. I was offered the position of Arabic and Cultural Instructor for nonnative speakers, which, in turn, inflamed my passion for my mother tongue and started to look at it from an analytical point of view. However, after the spread of coronavirus, my old love for translation came up. So, I started looking for translation opportunities. I want to start again with a rewarding project!

I have Master degree in Translation and Interpreting (English, French, Arabic) from the Higher Institute of Human Studies of Tunis (University Tunis El Manar). Currently, I work as a translator/ Interpreter in SUN BOOKING Safe Elderly’s Care Company. Before that, I was a translator in an office of sworn translation. I am very delighted to find the opportunity to spend an important period in the field of translation, communication, and writing. I am dedicated to my job. Simultaneously with my position as a translator, I worked and still working, volunteer translator, interpreter and proofreader, with some United Nations organizations like UNDP Tunisia, UNV Egypt, UNESCO Palestine, World Food Programme,….etc Every task of a “Translator/Interpreter will enrich my experience and to enlarge my ambitions in the future.
