I have more than 20 years of experience in the field of translation, localization and proofreading. I worked as a technical writer, translator, reviewer, proofreader, project manager and other management positions. I have a passion for high quality and learning new technologies and tools.

Full time translator at Future Group company (Jan 2003- Dec 2004), Full time translator & reviewer at ES Localization (Jan 2005 till Nov 2008), Business Development Manager and Owner at Localized Vision, till the present time.

I am an AS+C International Certified Translator according to EN 15038 / International Certified Interpreter according to OENORM D 1202. I am a certified Egyptian translator who had had her elementary, intermediate and high school education in a British school( holding I.G.C.S.E),and was graduated at faculty of Arts , Cairo university , Egypt. Holding a bachelor degree with a good grade(2 Bachelor Degrees from faculty of tourism and hotels and faculty of arts and linguistics) and succeeded in maintaining high grades in all the translation- related subjects along with other post graduate specialized translation diplomas , I had successfully joined the Egyptian Translators Association ( Egyta ), the most reputable translation association in Egypt.At present,I am obtaining a master of arts in linguistics and translation from Ain Shams university.

One of language lovers. Since school days i was curious to know all secrets of both Arabic & English languages. Therefore, i loved translation, linguistics, literature and language civilization. I enjoyed studying English, Arabic and Spanish at faculty of languages and presented my research paper on linguistics in the last year of studying there. Later on, i had great opportunity to study Qur'an & Tajweed for more than 5 years in one of Al-Azhar institutions. Also, i attended conference in Arabic League as a training on interpretation. Then, i had training on legal and technical translation at MITSCO Company. Besides, i studied political sciences at Al Ahram center to apply for unique position in Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked as a translator for one of leading law firms in Cairo. Later on, i worked as teacher, translator and localizer. I have more than 20 years of translation, with particular concern about linguistic aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I have been a translator for Syria's government department since 1998. Also, I worked for UN Organizations in Syria then, translating agreements, work plans, and project documents. After that, I left Syria for Saudi Arabia and consequently left my job. I was offered the position of Arabic and Cultural Instructor for nonnative speakers, which, in turn, inflamed my passion for my mother tongue and started to look at it from an analytical point of view. However, after the spread of coronavirus, my old love for translation came up. So, I started looking for translation opportunities. I want to start again with a rewarding project!
