I got a master degree in East Asian Languages and Culture in 2013, at Ca’ Foscari University, Venice.
Short after graduation I cooperated to the English translation of the novel How stubborn our hearts, by Ye Zhaoyan, and I worked as a translator for CSOFT (http://www.csoftintl.com/ ), a translation company based in Beijing, where I worked on different project, included medical, marketing, IT and technical material (CSOFT has major clients such as DELL, WD, General Electric, KODAK, etc.).
Furthermore, last year I attended a master in Editorial Translation at Tuttoeuropa school in Turin, where we translated the novel Devoted Ladies, by Molly Keane, and this year I'm attending a Master Degree in Audiovisual translation (dubbing and subtitling) which also focuses on accessibility. This Master also puts an emphasis on technical-scientific and juridic translation from French and English into Italian.
Finally, since November I am cooperating with a patent translation agency, where I'm working on mechanical and medical patents.

On 2019, I obtained my Master's degree in translation and interpreting, but I started working as translator and proofreader on 2018 during my first University internship; I worked both with English and French (from and into Italian) by translating and proofreading texts on economics. Later, I had the opportunity to specialize in medical and pharmaceutical translation by working six months at Medipragma. Thanks to these experiences, not only I have acquired important language and professional skills, but also I have learned how to manage my work and to deliver an accurate and reliable product to my clients.
I am an MA student in Modern China Studies at the University of Freiburg and a Freelance Translator. I have experience both in Translation and Audiovisual Translation; since April 2017 I am in charge of subtitling and captioning videos for Amara.org from English into Italian. The passion for languages and the curiosity lead me to work in different contexts. I have mainly worked as educator and language tutor but I have also had the chance to deal with tourists and international clients.
